‘The Bee Collective’ is a collection inspired by the awareness being raised for the mass extinction that certain species of bees are facing today. Physicist Albert Einstein has rightly said, “If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live.” With the booming agriculture, exploitation of pesticides and loss of habitat, the bee population is steadily declining which asks for our immediate attention; as bees play a pivotal role in the pollination process of plants which ensures that we enjoy delicious fruits and vegetables all year long. If the bees were to vanish from the face of this earth, there would be no way for flowers to pollinate and there would be no crops flourishing. Thus this collection is an ode to the bees and our effort to ensure that we all play our part and save the world.

Beautiful bees and flowers are hand-painted by skilled artisans of India on these products, which are handmade in ceramic with much care and precision on a cerulean blue base ideal for your dining table along with indoor and outdoor décor. DESCRIPTION
The serving bowls from the collection 'The Bee Collective' are handmade in ceramic inspired by the awarness raised for the protection of bees. It is ideal for serving curries, rice, noodles, salads etc. The products are cast in a mould and hand-painted by the Indian Artisans with bees and floral patterns. At last, the final pieces are then fired at temperatures of 1200 degree Celsius.

- Since the product is handpainted, there might be a slight variation in the design and colour of the product. Also, there could be a slight variation in the glazing/color/finish on the product, as the glazing is done inside the furnace fired at 1200 degree Celsius to make the product sturdy and due to the natural property of the studio glazing it is impossible to predict the color of the glazing/finish which will eventually come on the product after the firing process.

So appreciate the prompt delivery, prompt response to the problems of receiving broken mugs of the set.
Wish you would take care to check the quality of each piece of the bought set and not send chipped mugs. Out of the set of six, one was broken and one chipped one ( both of which were replaced immediately thanks!) ans one other had rough edges on the mouth of the mug ( which I did it want complain ..)
but i so love this set that I look forward to chai time each day!

Unique products but the hanging portion can be made sturdy
I have been looking for a unique and original key holder for at least a year and was delighted when searching online, to find this one. I work in the Fairtrade industry and was even more delighted to see that they work closely with local artisans who they seem to have a personal relationship with rather than an impersonal corporate one. When I discovered that it was made in India, I got in touch with Exclusive Lane who were very efficient and helpful in replying to my questions and explaining that they could send it to the U.K from India. This is not something I have done before, order an item to be posted all the way from India, but I was delighted to discover that it was possible. It was a much better price doing it this way, than ordering through a private seller in the U.K, even though there was a small cutoms charge to pay (which was easy to do). The product arrived about a 7-10 days later (I can't quite remember) and it is now up on my wall. As for the product, it is as the picture show. The wooden posts for keys could possibly be slightly thinner to allow easy of getting keys on and off but other than that I am very happy with my purchase and even more with the excellent efficiency and service behind the order itself.
